Standard utilities

Most Web server distributions include a number of utility programs that help in the writing of scripts. These programs are usually not server-specific and are often of general use in the writing of CGI scripts. The CERN server distribution includes the cgiparse and cgiutils programs, for decoding forms data and creating valid HTTP headers, respectively. Both programs work with servers other than CERN.
