Written by John Cristy at E.I du Pont de Nemours & Company, this free
but copyrighted image manipulation package consists of a number of
separate programs:
animation ,
convert ,
display , mogrify , import and montage .
It is mainly used to convert between different image file formats, and
can read PostScript, Macintosh PICT format, JPEG and TIFF format files
if it is built with additional software. The source can be compiled
on UNIX using the imake program, and will also compile on VMS.
The source code is available from:

Note: this HTML document was generated in December 1994 directly from the
LaTeX source files using LaTeX2HTML. It was formatted into our standard page layout
using the Template Toolkit. The document is mainly of historical
interest as obviously many of the sites mentioned have long since
disappeared.
