HTML 3.0 features

Many of the features likely to be implemented in HTML 3.0 were initially proposed some time ago, some of them as early as 1993, before version numbers were assigned to the HTML language. The enhancements were originally referred to as HTML+, and there are still several discussion documents available on the Web which use the term. These are a historical legacy, and since the IETF working group has adopted a version numbering scheme for HTML, any references to HTML+ should probably be interpreted as HTML 3.0.

The document is mainly of historical interest as obviously many of the sites mentioned have long since disappeared.
