Future directions

Most informed observers seem to be agreed that the area of information differentiation is ripe for development. Web information providers are for the most part keen to have more control over the way individual browsers display their documents, so as to be able to consolidate their own particular styles, making their documents distinctively recognizable. Work is currently underway to find ways of making this feasible which do not also place limits on platform independence.
